Migration creates benefit and problem for theareas people migrate and migrate to. 1.The most favourable argument in terms of the benefit of the source region is the remittances received which acts like the life and blood for the source region but at the same time there is the drain of wealth on the part of the source region as it leads to loss of human resource. 2.Unregulated migration has resulted in overcrowding in the urban areas thus putting pressure on the existing infrastructure.Growth of slums, groundwater exploitation,problem in waste management, sewerage disposal are some ofthe problems. 3.While the migrants act as the agents of social change , formation of a composite culture at the same time it may lead to dejection , depression, involvement on crimes, drug abuse.
