The poetess makes a deliberate effort to drive out such thoughts.she tries to look at the trees that seem to be scurrying away from the moving car and the children rushing out of their homes She contrasts her dejected mood with the jubilant one outside. She observes the joyous children who seem to be gushing out ,like water ,with a great deal of energy.they epitomize vitality,youth,and also joyousness.
