1.she here refers to the potess'mother.2.Betty and Dolly were the cousins of potess'mother.3.some twenty thirty years later from when the picture was clicked her mother would look at the snapshot and laughed she remembered nostalgically about the sea holiday and how odly they used to be dressed for the beach. And last answer is ..the sea holiday was remembered by her mother with a sense of fondness as well as with a sense of loss as that time would never return similarly her laughter could never be seen by poet as she was no more. The sea holiday was the poet's mother's past and her laughter is the poetess past .both made a lot of effort to overcome or easen this sense of loss but there will always be a tinge of difficulty in letting them go completely .
