Given, Initial velocity, u = 0

Final velocity, v =?

Acceleration, a = 4 cm/s²

And, Time, t = 10 s

We know that,

v = u + <i>a</i>t

= 0 + 4 × 10

= 40 cm/s

Therefore, after 10 seconds the velocity of trolley will be 40 cm/s.
