Evaporation is the process of water turning into water vapour which takes place on the surface of the water whereas boiling takes places when the water is heated to a high temperature and it happens every where in the water.

Evaporation : It is conversion of liquid to vapour at the temperature below its boiling point. :It is surface phenomenon. :It causes cooling effect. Boiling :It is conversion of liquid to vapour at the boiling point. :It is bulk phenomenon. :It causes heating effect.
