Margie is a character from the story The fun they had. She is a eleven year old girl. Her mindset is as twenty-first century kids.She finds books to be less useful than her online computer education. She thinks that a teacher must be adjusted to a certain level to teach the kids. She has friend named tommy. One day he discovers a real book.they find it interesting. Margie gets involved into the thoughts of the kind of school children used to have in olden days. Hence ,margie was obedient ,friendly, caring,studious,open minded by nature.

Margie is the 11 year old girl . She belong to the future generation. She hated school. She was having a mechanical teacher who lives next to her bedroom. She uses to write her feelings in the diary .she also wrote that a Tommy found the real book.
