The poet is trying to say in this statement that when there were 2 choices in front of him in form of roads , he chose to walk on the second road , the one he thought was less travelled by in this line poet says that his decision of choosing and walking on the second road has made all the difference and that his life would have been easier or different if he had chosen the first road which was frequently travelled by people.
