Homogeneous is a type of mixture which is also called true solution. The particle size is smaller than 1 nanometre. The solute in a homogeneous mixture spread throughout uniformly. Example is sugar in water. Heterogeneous mixtures on the other hand is a kind of mixture in which the solute is not evenly distributed throughout the solution like oil in water. There are two types of heterogeneous mixtures suspension and colloid.
