Margin is a page layout term used in both print and Web publishing.
In print , margin refers to page borders and on Web it describes the spacing between elements on a webpage.
There are four margins on a Microsoft word page - top , bottom , left , right.
Method used to set margin in MS word :
Step 1 : Open Microsoft Word document.
Step 2 :Click the Layout tab. It's at the top of the window.
Step 3 :Click Margins. It's on the left side of the tool bar.
Step 4 :Click Custom Margins or go to Step 5 else go to Step 6
Step 5 :Click one of the predefined margin templates.
Eg: Normal (1 inch on all sides)
Step6 :Set the margins. Type numbers indicating the width of your margins
in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right fields.
Step7 :Click the Apply to drop-down menu.
Step 8 :Select how to apply the margins. Choose according to preference
Step 9 :Click OK. The new margins will be applied to the document.
