Restriction enzymes ........................are basically molecular scissors ......................which cut the DNA.... ..................but they are of two types.................. the endonuclease and exo nuclease............. and endo nuclease basically cut the DNA by recognising specific palindrome sites.............. in between the DNA ................the first restriction endonuclease that was discovered was hind 2..........????

  • Restriction enzymes belong to a larger class of enzymes called Restriction enzymes are called as molecular scissors because these enzymes cut DNA at specific sites.
  • The first restriction endonuclease is Hind II.
