Atomic mass of He =4u Molar mass of He = 4g The number of moles = given mass / molar mass n=m/M= 12/4 = 3 moles _

No. of moles = given mass ----------------------- Gram atomic mass Given mass of oxygen is 64 g. And atomic mass of oxygen is 16u. So, gram atomic mass of oxygen is 16g. No. of moles = 64 -------. = 4 moles. 16 Given mass of helium is 12 g. And atomic mass of helium is 2u. So, gram atomic mass of helium is 12g. No. of moles = 12 -------. = 6 moles. 2
