Subbu was number 2 at Gemini Studios .....he always looked cheerful and was highly resourceful charitable and of loving nature..... he was also an amazing actor. .....And a novelist .....although he played Minor roles he performed them better than the lead actors..,.. he was very close and intimate with the boss and had many enemies......????

Kothamangalam subbu aka subbu by virtue of being born as a Brahmin was got advantage over the office boy . Subbu had the ability to look cheerful all the time. According to the narrator he could never do things on his own,he always have had work for somebody . He was tailor made for flims,whenever there was a problem at GS he was the one who came out with solutions everytime . He also had a seperate identity as poet, he composed several truely original 'story poems ' and also wrote a sprawling novel Thillana Mohanambal .He was capable of more complex and higher forms . He was an amazing actor but never aspired to lead roles . He had a genuine love for everyone he came across .Such a charitable and improvidenr man, and yet had enimies ! As it was assumed that he seemed close and intimate with the boss with all the means of flattery, and thus was able to be "No.2" at the GS
