MRA (moral rearmament army) was a group of 200 people and they performed two plays 'Jotham valley' & 'The forgotten factor' which affected everybody in the Gemini studio especially their costumes and the seen of rising and setting sun.. that's why they were described as an ' international circus'

The people who worked in the studio were simple people who have at most heard only about one or two famous poets.they had never heard about this guy who supported communism.spender talked insuch a way tht nobody at the studio understood him. His accent was too thick. And so,the people thought the MRA were a bunch of people who didn't care for anyone and were a grp of people in an international circus.

Because Stephen spender was the English man and his ascent is not understandable to the Gemini's studio people. As it's a international communism but for these people it becomes a circus ( a humour ).
