If its addition, then simply 9
But if you are told to factorise 3 +6 then
Step1: Take the common factor
In this case it is 3
Step2: find the multiples
3×1=3 and 3×2=6
Step3: Now take the multiples inside the bracket and the common factor outside
3(1+2) this is the answer
Verfication-
3(1+2)
= 3×1 + 3×2
=3 + 6
=9
