In autobiographical episode of Zitkala - Sa the narrator beautyfuy depicts the social injustice ,racial discrimination and unhealthy treatmen toward the dippressed class. He described the incident of blarding school .which was over disciplined.student worn clining dresses with stiff shoes and had shingled hair .he also explain about the eating by formula ...and mentioned the 1st day of school as the bitter cold .beacuse after a massive protest aginst being a shinled hair... He couldn't save his identity .it was more atricous as he belonged Native American warrior tribe .where only girls keltshingled hair when he was captureb by enemy . Shingled hair worn by mourner and cowardice .

Zitkala sa shows the most hatred attitude towards indian carlisle school.she often describes that her first day was the bitter cold one.the eating by formula is very difficult for her on her first day but this not only was bitter thing happened to her.then her hair was shingled as per the rules of school because she was irrrespected for being belonged to native american tribe
