Prokaryotic cells are the cells whose nucleus is not well defined and is called nucleoid . Eukaryotic cells are the cells whose nucleus is well defined and surrounded with a nuclear membrane . Prokaryotic cells are generally small in size and eukaryotes are generally large in size , prokaryotes - only one chromosome and eukaryotes - more than one chromosome
