    When no of valancy electron is 1'2'3'4 then its valancy is same 1'2'3'4 when it is more than 4 then it will be substracted by 8 then the value obtained by substracting by 8 is its valancy

    Valency is combining capacity of an element The no. Of electron present in outermost shell of an orbit is the valency.Ex--Hydrogen H outermost shell is 1 so valency is 1 If it is more than 4 then 8-(electron present in outermost shell) will be valency Ex--Sulphur S electron in outermost shell is 6 Then V=8-6 = 2 Thanks for the question ❤?
