To make a saturated solution 36g of sodium chloride is dissolved in 100g of water at 293 k. Find its concentration at this temlerature.

Mass of solute = 36 g

     Mass of solvent = 100g

     Mass of solution = 100 + 36

                            = 136g

Concentration of solution = (Mass of solute / Mass of solution ) x100

                                   = (36/136) x 100

                                   = 26.47%
