Repeater
Router
For linking the LAN segments, the repeater is being used.
Devices that connect to two or more networks are routers. It runs on a layer of the network.
Any packet which has no sporting capacity is fronted by a repeater.
They are composed of a mixture of hardware and software.
Frames, directories, or headers are not recognized by repeaters. They know the signs representing bits like voltage.
The network address allows routers to find the best path to a system or device.
On the wires to which they are connected, there are analogue devices that use signals.
The conceptual and functional address is used by routers to connect two or more technically distinct networks.
