The gravitational force between two object is 100N .How should the distance beween the object be changed so,that force between them become 50N

F1 = G M m / d1²
F2 = G M m / d2²

F1 / F2 = d2² / d1²

100 / 50 = (d2/d1

d2 = √2 d1

Hence the distance should be  √2 times the previous.
