stock is a variable measured at a particular point of time. flow is a variable measured during a period of time. stock is time dimensional, it is measured per hour, per minute. Flow is not time dimensional, it is measured over a period of time. stock imapacts the flow. Greater the stock of capital, greater the flow of services. Flow impacts the stock. Greater the flow of income, greater the stock of wealth. Stock - Rice stored in godown, distance bw delhi n agra, water in overhead tank. Flow - speed of car going to delhi from agra, leakage in water overhead tank.

stock is measured at a point of time flow is measured after a period of time stock is measured in kmph or m flow isnt measured in any units stock eg speed tepmperaure flow eg balance sheet bank account etc
