1. When we are suffering from a bus and when the driver applies brakes we tend to forward, same happens in train that is our tendency or inertia to move forward or backward as our bus or train was moving. 2. We usually tie our luggage at the top of a bus in order to not let them fall because when brakes applies the luggage also tend to forward and may fall ,so it is the tendency or inertia of luggage to move in the moving direction of vehicle .
