During cold war india s policy with us was really bad. India was said to be in secret relationship with USSR. Though pakistan was an alliance of us that's why US always supported Pakistan. During the years of war with the Pakistan us supported Pakistan only in India suffered very much as it faced conflicts from three sides us Pakistan and China But after sometime relationship between US and India started aoftening. Leaders head negotiation and many meetings together these all things lead once again a good relationship between US and India
