It is a travelogue written by vikram seth. He had visited kathmandu and he wrote his experiences in his book.

basically this story is about a traveler in Kathmandu... The first part of the story describes the setting... The second part of the story describes what the author ate and did....and the last part of the story describes the flute player and his music. this chapter is very straightforward and not very metaphorical.
