The total potential energy of object at height of 1m meter is also equal to its final K. E. So u can simply find..... PE= 1*9.8*2 =19.6joule KE (final) =19.6joule...?

v = √(u^2 + 2as) = √(0+2*9.8*1) =√19.6 Kinetic energy=1/2 mv^2 = 1/2 *2*v^2 = v^2 = (√19.6)^2 = 19.6 J
