->Mass •Mass is measured by the objects inertia. More the mass more the inertia. •It is a property of material, so it dose does not change with place •S.I Unit:kg • Scalar quantity ->Weight •Of an object on earth is the force by which it is attracted towards earth. •As it is force so it has both magnitude and direction (i.e. downwards). •SI unit ‘N’. •W = mass x g. •g changes with location, so does weight.

1.weight is a force. 2.mass is amount of material present inside the given object 3.weight is a vector quantity. 4.mass is a csaler quantity.

3 ) Weight changes from place to place . 4 ) weight can be measured with the help of spring balance . MASS : 1 ) Mass of an object is the measure of enersia of an object . 2) SI unit of mass is kg. 3) Mass will remain same throughout the universe. 4) Mass can be measured with the physical balance.
