Selling price of stool=₹67.50 Loss%on stool=10% then, c.p of stool=(100/100-loss%)×s.p (100/100-10)×₹67.50 6750/90=₹75 But,if S.P=₹82.50 then, It is a gain! Gain=s.p - c.p ₹82.50-₹75 ₹7.50 Gain%=(gain/c.p)×100 (7.50/75)×100 10%←ANS.
