Orbit:- 1. It is the path around the nucleus where electrons revolve. 2. They can accommodate 2n^2 electrons. 3. They are circular in shape. Orbitals:- 1. It is the space around nucleus where there is max probability of finding electrons. 2. They can accommodate only 2 electrons. 3. They can be circular, dumbbell or double dumbbell in shape.
