Membership of WTO is required in the context of Indian economy as India is a underdeveloped country so it needs a big support for development and organisations like WTO helps the developing countries by granting loans , removing tariff barriers , reduction in quota limits and by making treaties related to trade . These above mentioned assistances are the need of the hour for such countries including India . Hence membership is required.
