Some of them are viruses some are bacteria some are fungi some are single-celled animals or protozoan some diseases are also caused by multicellular organisms such as worms of different kinds

The most common cause of infectious diseases are pathogens called viruses and bacteria, but they can also be caused by fungi or protozoa. Non-infectious diseases are not transmitted from one person to another and are not caused by pathogens.
