In circle 1\8 are banana , 40% are apples and remaining are oranges. If there are 210 apples and bananas at the stall, how many orages are there?

The above answer is incorrect.. the answer is 190. x/8 is banana & 2x/5 is apple. & the total of apple & banana is 210. Hence, x/8+2x/5=210. then x = 400. So total is 400 then banana is 400-210 = 190. Answer is 190 oranges.

Yup good question but not hard question for a ntse aspirants Lets solve it Let the total no. Fruits in stall be "x" So x/8 are ? and 40/100 x be apple or 2/5 x and their sum is 21x/8 =210 solving we get x=80 so 10 are bananas and 32 are apples and rest are ? =38 Hope it will help you Thanx for posting the question I am also a ntse aspirant
