Answer to your Q- According to the two nation theory Mohammed Ali Zinnah India consisted of two religion one was Hindu and Muslim, Hindustan was for Hindu and Pakistan should be for Muslim. People who were residing in Pakistan need to move to India. Many Sikhs who're in Pakistan need to move to India due to partition. There were tragic transfer of the people. On the day of Independence people didn't know which part they're either in Pakistan or India. There were also division of hearts and there were also division of things, accessories, the accessories which belong to Pakistan were bought to Pakistan. The typewriters, drums etc. were also divided. There were also minority problem. People need to walk miles and miles for fetching water even some of girls were raped and killed when they're on the way. It was not very easy to demarcate the areas. There were clashes between both side of the border. There were also communal zones in Amritsar, Kolkata.
