Bcqs in comparion to the mass of nucleons mass of electron is very small approx. 10000 times so we ignore it

Generally when working out the mass of atoms and molecules we can ignore the mass of electron.Notice that most of the mass of an atom is found in its nucleus :the mass no. Of an atom is the total no. Of proton and neutron it contain.
