Answer: Because plants need chlorophyll in the presence of sunlight to make there own food by the process of photosynthesis.But human beings do not have chlorophyll and not able to do the process of photosynthesis.That is why human beings depend on plants for there food.

This is because plants have to trap sunlight for the process of photosynthesis to make their own food and humans do not require chlorophyll or sunlight to prepair food because they depend on plants for food
