    Let first part be m, then other part=(125-m). Now, according to the condition=2m=3(125-m),2m=375-3m,2m+3m=375,5m=375,m=375/5,m=75 First part=75and other=50

    2x + 3x = 125
    5x = 125
    x = 125/5
    = 25
    Therefore ,Ist part = 2x = 2*25 = 50
    2nd part =3x = 3*25 = 75
