The East European countries belongs to USSR as the Soviet Army liberated the east European countries from the facist rule. And the West European countries belong to US. Both the superpowers had different ideologies which were conflicting for each other. The Berlin Wall was the border of both the superpowers. When USSR dis integrated US became the one and only superpower. And it was the end of bipolar world.
