Liberals were the group of people who wanted a change in the society, they wanted an elected parliament to rule and an elected jurisdiction, but they did not follow up to Universal Adult Franchise that is they did not want all people to be allowed to vote, they did not want the women to be allowed to vote. Also, this is a Social Science question not English.
