Let the unit digit be x Tens digit be 9-x Original number=10*tens digit +unit digit =10*(9-x)+x =90-9x After reversing the digits Unit digit be 9-x Tens digit be x New number =10x+9-x =9x+9 Now 90-9x=9x+9+9 ( bcz after reversing the number is greater by 9 ) =9x+18=90-9x =18x=72 X=4 Therefore unit digit is 4 Tens digit is 9-4=5 Therefore the number is 54.
