Basic Psychology is about the concepts that are fundamental to the study of human behavior. Memory, Attitude, Perception and Personality are some of these topics.
Basic Psychology also covers the history of the evolution of Psychology as a discipline by chronicling the schools of Psychology such as Psychoanalysis, Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Psychology et al.
Applied Psychology has to do with the application of these concepts and involves experimentation and psychological intervention.
