Please explain the line of ncert pg-96 last line i.e 'a polymers formed has at one end a free phosphate moiety at 5'-end of sugar,which is referred to as 5'-end of polynucleotide chain.

Refer to that fig.given in ncert,in every polynucleotide chain at one end, phosphate is free,so that will be 5'end.and on other end hydroxyl or OH group is free ,which is present at 3 position of deoxyribose sugar,so it is 3'end.
