First draw a line segment of 4cm and mark it as AB Construct 90° at B With B as centre and radius of 6cm draw an arc cutting the 90° ray Mark the intersection as c Then join BC With C as centre and radius of 4cm draw an arc With A as centre and radius of 6cm draw an arc which intersects C and mark it as D Join AD I.E its the required rectangle ABCD

We know that opposite side of rectangle are equal. So AC =BD=6cm ,BA=DC=4cm
