Foetal ejection reflex starts the positive feedback loop. It results in the release of oxytocin that induces uterine contractions that ultimately cause pituitary gland to release more oxytocin which is necessary for continuous uterine contractions for expulsion of the baby.

Foetal ejection reflex is a signal which arises by unborn baby and uterine cavity just before the parturition . A harmon oxytocin released by pituitary gland causes continuous contraction ans relaxation in uterine wall and parturition takes place
