Here p=8, Q=160, ∆p= 6-8 = -2 (price falls by ₹2 per unit), Ep= ∆Q/∆p×P/Q (-)2 = ∆Q/-2×8/160 (-)2= ∆Q/-40 ∆Q= 80 Therefore consumer will buy 240 units (160+80) at a new price of ₹6
