Government spends money on health and education because lots of the population in India is below poverty line and they Don't have enough money to give their family a healthy life which also results in lack of education to their children. Poor people send their kids to work just to earn money and have one day meal properly. But government wants that each child must get education and then take a proper job and give their support to our economy. Thats why government is spending lots of money on their health and education as it is beneficial for the Indian economy.
