Flattery as is evident in this story, is prevalent at almost all places. It basically satisfies the ego of person who is being treated in lofty terms. With words and gestures a false world is created around so as to befool that fellow. Here, the Tiger King is flattered by his courtiers ,who just to avoid making him upset, do not raise their voice against anything unethical happening around them.Actually the person frames unrealistic ideas about himself and falls prey to the sweetened pills. Wrong deeds are committed so as to meet the self interest. The genuine people are ignored at the cost of fake ones. It checks the healthy growth of relationships and whence the development of society. The real cause and issues are left behind and pretension prevail. This whole idea unfolds in Tiger King in a humorous manner - to appease the king, The King's Courtiers do not spare a single chance to fulfill his whims and fancies. He wanted to prove the astrologer wrong ,so he decided to kill 100 tigers in his estate. This act of the king troubled everyone but no one came forward to stop him ,as a result of which the tigers became extinct .Such sort of administration leads to ultimate fall of estate. King met his end on operation table at the hands of his saviors i.e., doctors.
