Autotrophs- all green plant prepare their own food are called autotrophs. Heterotrophs- they are cannot prepare their own food are called heterotrophs.

Autotrophs are those organsims which can prepare their own food by the process of photosynthesis. Whereas heterotrophs cannot prepare their own food. They are dependent on plants for their food. Green plants are autotrophs. Animals and human beings are heterotrophs.
