Let Ag107 and Ag109 available in x% and y% respectively. So,x + y = 100 .........(i) Now, (x × 107/100)+(y × 109/100) =108.5 1.07x +1.09y=108.5 ..........(ii) On multiplying (i) by 1.09 and subtracting (ii) from (i),we get 0.02x = 0.5 ==> x = 25 On putting x = 25 in (i), we get y = 75 Percent of Ag107 =25% Percent of Ag109 =75%
