Conduction is the process of transfer of heat in a body from a hot end to the cold end without any actual movement of the molecules of material.
Conduction is a process in which heat is transferred from the hotter end of an object to its cooler end.
The condition required for conduction of heat is the temperature difference between the ends of material (rod or any other form). Also, for conduction between two bodies, the bodies need to be in contact, along with having a temperature difference of course.
