M. Hamel was a french teacher . He use to have a ruler in his hand. He was a strict and careless teacher who was not worried about the future of his students as he use to ask his students to do his household work. Instead of teaching many times he use to go for fishing with his friends. When he come to know that german is going to be teached in schools of Alsace and Lorraine then he become emotional because he has to leave his profession and at last felt sorry for wasting students time and was speechless and wrote on board in big letters "VIVE LA FRANCE"...

M.hamel was a french teacher. He usually have a ruler under his armpit. He wants to make his students understood about the importance of french language. But When he came to know that only german will be taught in the schools of Lorraine and Alsace. He became very sad and then he said his students that it was his last lesson.
