For autogamy, stamen and pistil must be present on a same flower. But,in geitonogamy they need to be present on different flowers of same plant . In castor and maize flowers are unisexual. So, autogamy cannot occur but geitonogamy can occur with the aid of insects or agents etc. Geitonogamy literally means neighbour marriage .
